August: Osage County centers on the Weston family after the head of the house hold disappears and leaves the family to deal with many issues including abuse, alcoholism, suicide, infidelity and more. Violet Weston, is the mother/wife of the family, and is addicted to prescription drugs. The role of Violet Weston is played by Academy Award-winner Estelle Parsons....who you might also recognize from the long running TV show Rosanne. Estelle Parsons played Rosanne's mother, Beverly Harris from 1989-1997.
