Sister Act at the Orpheum

Sister Act is finally coming to the Orpheum and we can hardly wait for you to get to a show! Sister Act tells the story of Deloris Van Cartier, a "wannabe diva" whose life takes a difficult turn when she witnesses a crime. The police hide her in the last place anyone would think to look—a convent! Can you imagine?! 

So, under the suspicious watch of Mother Superior, Deloris helps her fellow nuns find their voices as she unexpectedly rediscovers her own. It's a great show, and you will be missing out if you don't get tickets today.

Sister Act musical on Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade review

While I’m blogging about the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, I’ll mention another musical I saw a snapshot of during the Parade yesterday. Sister Act. I LOVED the Sister Act movies starring Whoppi Goldberg. I think she did such a fantastic job in those movies. Since I grew up watching and loving Whoopi in the Sister Act movies, I can definitely see myself going to see Sister Act the musical.

The musical Sister Act is currently playing in New York, New York at the Broadway Theatre. Sister Act looks to be playing at the Broadway Theatre until at least the middle of June, 2012.
