I went to see the Lion King at the Orpheum on Saturday and, wow, it was amazing! The opening scene actually gave me shivers as the cast performed to a T the opening portion of the Lion King where Simba is introduced at Pride Rock. The stage, as well as the isles, were filled with life-like animals as the theater was encompassed with amazing sound.
Seeing the Lion King makes me want to see Beauty and the Beast even more when it comes in the fall!
